Description

You will be working on a robust, highly competitive software with unmatched functionality, that supports warehouses and 3PL providers to grow and better serve their customers..
This role will join a team of programmers supporting customers and contributing to innovation. This position requires an individual who is self motivated and able to work independently as well as with others to fulfill customer requests. The person who will be successful in this role is comfortable in a casual, open environment, calm under pressure, and enjoys interacting with others. Training will be provided for all company utilized programming languages.
- Complete work assignments based on logs assigned
- Keep logs updated with notes
- Communicate the status of projects and tasks with Team Lead
- Provide technical solutions that fall within the application standards
- Document new work processes as they are added to the application
- Conduct both unit testing as well as composite testing
- Participate in after hours programming support rotation
- Highly collaborative
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Practices good judgment in line with company priorities
- Proactive and positive, with a "can-do" attitude and a "will do" work ethic
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Manages multiple initiatives simultaneously within deadlines
- Adaptable, able to pivot quickly when scope or objectives of projects change
- Comfortable working in a collaborative environment
- Ability to work in an office setting as well as remotely
- Proactively update team regularly on all work and projects
- Basic knowledge of programming fundamentals
- AS400 Server
- RPG, CL, DDS, Command language
- Strong Analytical/Problem Solving capability
- Warehouse and Logistics Industry
