Ice Cream Maker Job at Kline's Dairy Bar
Independent thinker, mechanically inclined, responsible candidate who is looking for a flexible part-time ice cream making job in a quick paced clean environment. This position is making ice cream only! It is not a customer service position.
Position requires lifting boxes, 5gallon buckets, stainless steel tanks & etc. Must be able to lift 50+lbs.
Preparation of ice cream, cleaning ice cream cans, and freezers.
Daily cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing ice cream machines for production.
Daily outdoor cleaning of counters, tables, and washing of concrete.
Math skills - include measuring and calculating quantity of ice cream on hand and determine what needs to be made on a daily basis.
Maintain communication with Ice Cream Supervisor regarding daily routine or issues.
Part Time Position -Typical hours - 7AM-2PM, 15/20+/- hours during high season. Weekend hours required.
Training period - 6-8 weeks with experienced ice cream maker.
Responsible for being on-call daily, if more ice cream is needed.
Responsible for accepting weekly deliveries.
Must be 18 years old.
