Caregiver Responsibilities

• Address client needs with respect and attention to safety
• Engage clients through conversation and companionship, in a manner that promotes their independence and maintains their dignity
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and using the bathroom
• Help with meal planning and preparation, planning, and eating
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Provide occasional transportation (examples - grocery shopping, doctor appointments)

Caregiver Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• CNA/CPR licensing is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license with a registered vehicle that is insured (if transporting clients)
• Ability to pass background and DMV checks
• Ability to read and speak English
• Proven ability to behave with respect and compassion
• Possess a professional and upbeat attitude
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Job Types Available: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule: Days, evenings, overnights; weekdays, weekends, holidays, open

Job Locations: Omaha, NE & Council Bluffs, IA (within a 25-mile radius)

Salary: $14.00 per hour on weekdays $15.00 per hour on weekends

Experience: 1 year of caregiving (Preferred)
