Inbound Lead Dock Loader Job at Fireball Transport
Fireball Transport is a last mile delivery company specializing in business, residential basic to white glove deliveries. We deliver home goods for companies such as Amazon, Costco, Walmart, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods etc. White glove services include bringing freight in to the home, to the room of choice, unpack and debris removal, and sometimes assembly. Products for these services include mattresses, TV's, living room furniture, bedroom furniture, exercise equipment etc.
Fireball Transport is also a leader in LTL Cartage work for Old Dominion Freight Lines, R&L Carriers and ABF Freight.
We are looking for an Inbound Lead Dock Loader. The duties would include unloading our line haul trailers each morning from Boston and Albany of freight and loading up the route trucks going out each day. Cleaning and organizing the dock after all trucks are loaded and working with scheduling routes for the following day.
Potential candidates must have good communication skills, good dock ergonomics skills , forklift operation skills, and have the ability to lift 50lbs and on occasion 100lbs. Some of the freight, like mattresses ,tv's, and furniture, which can weigh up to 250 lbs. We will have hand carts, pallet jacks and forklifts to move the freight.

Hours are Monday thru Friday, 5:00 am start and finish by 3:00 pm, no weekends and no late night.
