Inbound Supply Planner Job at Epiroc
At Epiroc USA LLC, our Reman Inbound Supply Planner facilitates growth and profitability of the Remanufacturing Center in Tucson, AZ. Through strong commitment to the delivery of high quality customer service, the successful candidate will ensure the timely and adequate supply of materials required for production for the Parts & Services Global Remanufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor cores availability for production
- Track pending cores from the Customer Center and coordinate timely return for production
- Update and manage Core Tracking platforms
- Promote and facilitate the purchase of worn-out components, and set up supplier in system if required
- Check availability of interchangeable cores/components
- Create a PO for cores from non-M3 orders
- Review component build schedule and ensure timely arrival of required materials
- Review, release and adjust due dates of DO's for piece parts to align with component build schedule
- Monitor status of backorder parts and coordinate with Inbound Replenishment team as required
- Create and manage indirect PO's for miscellaneous items, consumables, services, and other supplies required for the shop
- Review and match indirect PO to supplier invoices, and confirm payment for invoices related to indirect PO's
- Manage consignment supplier agreements (review, analyze, and reconcile inventory as required)
- Source from alternative vendors if required
- Adjust inventory in the system as approved by Supervisor/Operations Manager
- Set up parts in RC warehouse in M3
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of remanufacturing processes and supply chain management
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) experience is huge plus
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with all functions for the good of Epiroc
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a good work ethic
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Openness to change and adaptable
- Well organized and focused on continuous improvement – there is always a better way!
- Good planning and execution capabilities
- Passion and commitment towards the best interest of the company
