Overview:
We have multiple part-time and full-time positions available on our Med Surg Unit - all benefit eligible.

These positions are:
  • .6 or .75 FTE Day/Night rotating shifts.
  • .6 FTE Straight Nights
12 hour shifts, working every third weekend and every third holiday.

OR
  • ***Baylor Shift - Weekend Only *** We have 1 full-time position working weekend only, working 72 hours per two weeks but receiving pay for 80 hours. 12 hour day shifts; working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Also working every other or third weekend and every third holiday.

River’s Edge Hospital follows the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccine mandate that requires all hospital staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All mandated persons are required to show proof of vaccination or have received an exemption from River’s Edge through the prescribed exemption process for disability, medical, or religious reasons.
Responsibilities:
The registered nurse is accountable for the provisions of nursing care to all patients in the hospital and to prescribe, delegate and coordinate that care as part of the daily responsibility. The registered nurse will also participate in unit management, staff orientation and self-development.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license, certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), and ACLS or ability to complete ACLS within six months of hire. Sincere interest in nursing with knowledge in general medical/surgical nursing and the ability to use the nursing process. Ability to interact in a positive and cooperative manner with courtesy and respect towards co-workers, patients and other customers. One to two years experience as an RN. Minimum one year hospital experience. Bachelor Degree preferred.
Minimum Salary: USD $37.41/Hr. Maximum Salary: USD $56.21/Hr. Shift Differential: $2.25 for second shift and $3 for third shift.
