Independent Property Adjuster – North Country NY Job at James Adjusting Inc.
Looking for a motivated individual to handle property losses in the North Country including the areas (but not limited to) of Ogdensburg, Potsdam, Plattsburgh, Massena, Malone, Lake Placid and surrounding areas. Applicant must live permanently in the area to handle day to day work including field inspections. Job consists of working out of your home office, meeting with property owners, inspecting (including roof inspections) and assessing damages and cost to repair, and reporting to our office and various insurance carriers.
Basic computer skills are needed and must have reliable transportation. Individual must be organized, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Some construction experience is a plus but not necessary. Willing to train the right individual but must have NYS Fire or General Adjusters license to begin training for this position, per NYS guidelines.
