Platinum Technologies is seeking a Sr. Information Systems Security Officer to support our DoD customer. Our team is currently supporting the US Army C5ISR center requirement to transition on-premise applications into an AWS cloud environment which is currently going through the ATO process. We are seeking a senior RMF Information Systems Security Officer/Engineer to ensure compliance within the Requirements Management Framework process and serve as a leader on the team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing the hands-on expertise associated with the role and overseeing other teammates who have similar duties.

What you get to do.

• Working with Development teams to ensure best practice security controls are implemented into work products
• Support infrastructure and software accreditation across all aspects of the Information Assurance (IA) program as required by USG including: Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503 and associated NIST publications
• Conduct security surveys to ensure all pertinent information gathered is included in security documentation for Accreditation packages
• Review and Prepare RMF, AIS and related A&A accreditation packages

Providing security coordination and review of all system test plansEffectively interfacing with military/government representatives, other IA teams and program personnel

Basic qualifications:

• Possess and maintain required DoDD 8140 certification (Security+ CE minimum, CISSP/CASP preferred)
• Familiarity with security automation tools including Nessus, Splunk and McAfee
• Experience with RMF in Cloud environment
• Experience creating and maintaining Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
• Familiarity with enterprise automated security tools including Nessus, Splunk and the McAfee Solutions Suite
• Experience with the Army G2 ATO process
• Active or Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility required

Job Type: Full-time

Minimum:

• 5 years’ experience
• Conducting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) using Risk Management Framework (RMF) and/or Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, and client Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIGs)
• Coordinating the process between Security Controls Assessors (SCAs) and development teams, managing and contributing to System Security Plans, Security Control Traceability Matrices, Software/Security Configuration Management, etc...

Pay: $160,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
