Critical Competencies

• Reasoning Ability – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
• Mathematical Skills – Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations, and metric to imperial measurement conversions.
• Language Skills – The ability to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, technical catalogs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical and government regulations. Ability to write reports, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, and managers, and customers.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School or GED, some College a plus
• Good interpersonal skills. Must have good communication skills and telephone manners
• 2 years in customer service field. Experience in technical service highly preferred.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Computer literacy is essential. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
