Job Description

FSI needs 2 Inside Representatives for the Baltimore, MD location. Construction supply is a time sensitive industry that requires a sense of urgency in all actions. Inside Sales is a primary link in the supply chain that often gets the 1st call from a customer desperately needing a solution. Qualified applicants will be helping to supply the nation’s top contractors with timely, accurate information and material so they can keep the project on time and under budget. FSI is looking for problem solvers that can learn specific information about durable goods sold in the commercial construction arena, present the products verbally, in person and via written quote to wide array of customers building our nation/region/home!

Compensation

· $40K + Base salary based on experience, paid semi-monthly.

· Commissions paid quarterly.

· 401(k) with employer contributions.

· Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Responsibilities

· Answering incoming sales calls from customers and our Outside Sales team.

· Working closely with an assigned Outside Sales representative to become a cohesive team to provide timely responses to contractor inquiries.

· Inputting sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.

· Purchasing special order materials for customers.

· Identifying customer needs, recommending products and maintaining compliance to job specifications.

· Providing excellent customer service derived from a host of other contractors, business owners, engineers, homeowners, government agencies and other local & national businesses looking for material, products and services that we offer.

· Collaborating with all parties, at various companies to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-up skills.

· Construction/Building/Home Project experience

· Experience in sales & purchasing is a plus.

· Proficient computer skills.

· Team orientation.

· An ability to find/see/acquire/read new information, retain it and turn it into a benefit to the customer and the FSI team.

· Takes initiative, manages time effectively, adjusts priorities based on constantly changing job/customer demands.
