ESSENTIAL PURPOSE:

Sales and sales support

• Solicit and provide quotations for customers and territory managers.
• Responsible for sales objectives of house accounts. Must communicate and follow up on leads and/or opportunities with territory and branch managers.
• Must push current promotions, obsolete and damaged inventory as directed.

Order fulfillment

• Write and manage open orders, schedule deliveries (as needed), and track orders
• Assist management and warehouse as needed.
• Responsible for counter displays, merchandising, and communication of promotions, etc.

Employee development

• HVAC sales and installer experience preferred.
• Must show initiative to learn our products and promotions features and benefits.
• Must show enthusiasm and learn to be a resource for the customer rather than an order taker. Must be capable of building a following and meaningful relationships.
• Must learn our industry and competing brands.

POSITION PURPOSE: Provide customers and territory managers support to facilitate quotations, order processing, warranties, scheduling and tracking shipments, and backing up associated positions in branch as needed.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:

• Sales dollars, and number of orders entered and managed.
• Ability to impact sales versus take orders. Ability to grow as a sales representative.
• Are you a team player willing to do things as necessary to achieve branch and company objectives.
• Accuracy of work and management of reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: College business background or equivalent industry experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: HVAC, wholesale distribution operations, and sales

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Some of above and ability to learn.

SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment, and float between sales and operations.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook. Ability to learn P21 and vendor systems as required.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
