Instructors needed Job at Northwest College of Art & Design
Northwest College of Art and Design (NCAD) is a small private college located in the heart of Tacoma Washington. We are seeking qualified instructors to fill positions in our programs.
The position is an adjunct faculty member and would require on-site instructional availability. Instruction hours are typically four hours weekly or more depending on class scheduling. NCAD is a Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm instructional schedule. (Classes and instructional hours vary)
Currently accepting applications for the following programs:
Associate degree AOS in UX (user experience)
Associate degree AOS in Animation
Bachelor’s degree BFA in Graphic Design
Bachelor’s degree BFA in Fine Arts
General education courses for the AOS and Bachelor degree programs (Master’s degree required)
The right candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
· A minimum of 4 years in industry related experience
· A strong understanding of production workflow in areas
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Ability to utilize or adapt to diverse instructional methods and materials required to delivering course materials
· An Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)
