A day in the life:
Sell and renew company offered insurance products.
Provide coverage for insured risks, prospecting new accounts and handling incoming calls and referrals from branches or other outside sources.
Achieve sales goals.
Develop local marketing strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify and promote additional business opportunities for the insurance division and to other divisions within the bank.
Take on other duties as needed to ensure the success of the business.

Qualifications:
Requires a College Degree and 4+ years in insurance industry with underwriting, sales, and renewals. Insurance licensing required. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
Extensive knowledge of insurance underwriting, sales, and renewals.
Strong sales and client relationship sales.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to assess risk needs of complex consumers and recommend insurance solutions.
Ability to generate referrals.
