Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, natural born salesperson with a desire to make a difference in people's lives. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Specialist, you will be part of a team that is helping to grow the revenue of the office by offering products that people need for their security and peace of mind. Our newest Licensed Insurance Sales Representative will pursue and respond to the requests and needs of prospects and current clients who need insurance. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Specialist, you will be trained to act as a consultant for businesses and families, evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate means of meeting those needs. Salary is based on commission + bonus.
Salary Range: $42000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Prospects for new business through leads, telephone calls, networking events, trade shows and personal contacts (includes leads through COI, social media, B2B and B2C networks, and sales lead groups)
- Secures new business through individual effort and established lead methods
- Prepares quotes and applications and delivers effective presentations to close sales
- Consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
- Proactively cross sells
- Conducts sales and review appointments with prospective and current customers
Requirements
Plan, set priorities and organize work
Active involvement in the local community
Demonstrated sales and customer service experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Edge, Chrome etc.)
Experience using a wide range of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers
Experience with social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
