JOB SUMMARY: The Digital and Experience Development team is focused on driving product strategies to evolve and enhance the Guest experience across Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX). As a Senior Manager of Digital Product Integration, the primary function of this role will be to ensure successful implementation of UDX Digital capabilities, through collaboration with Creative and Operations Leadership.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital & Technology Leadership

• Drive the vision of the Digital & Technology team in support of the opening of Epic Universe
• Act as a Digital Product subject matter expert and Creative Liaison
• Work closely with Creative, Digital & Technology and other internal organizations to ensure alignment across the entire project life-cycle, from planning to implementation.
• Keep key stakeholders updated on product roadmap developments and advancements
• Manage issues, risks, and escalations as needed to support the Digital Product implementation

Digital Product Planning

• Collaborate with Universal Creative, by providing Digital & Technology input and review for the new construction of lands, foods, retail, and operational areas, to ensure designs enable the implementation of planned Digital Capabilities
• Validate the product roadmap aligns with the needs and expectations of key partners across Creative and Operations.
• Coordinate with key partners to manage product delivery and implementation timelines in support of the opening of Epic Universe.
• Partner with other Digital Product Managers to ensure product dependencies and integration points are considered during roadmap and release planning

Digital Product Strategy

• Understand and track Digital trends and innovations, continuously looking for opportunitites to advance the product portfolio
• Proactively evaluate Guest experience strengths and pain points from all perspectives, to identify opportunities for new and/or improved experience delivery capabilities
• Develop and frame up product recommendations with associated cost, value and experience analysis, to gain approval and funding for development
• Collaborate and liaise with key business partners to establish product goals and objectives
• Ensure product alignment with the holistic experience transformation vision

Digital Product Implementation and Support

• Oversee the implementation of Digital Product capabilities in preparation for the opening of Epic Universe, working closely with Digital & Technology during implementation to ensure proper installation, configuration and testing of all Digital technology.
• Perform in-field product validation throughout implementation, to ensure alignment with functional requirements.
• Maintain close partnership with Business Transformation to ensure that Operations teams are prepared to adopt new Digital capabilities, through comprehensive change management, communication, and training plans.
• Develop an ongoing approach for measuring the success of newly implemented experience enhancements, to enable well-informed future product planning
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is required. Degree’s in Business, Technology, Digital Marketing, or Industrial Engineering preferred. Master’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years in Product Management, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Digital Experience Design, Industrial Engineering, Technology, or related fields.
• People Management
  • Including goal setting, escalation handling, and mentorship
• Managing the digital experience for a consumer website and/or mobile app
• Experience with large scale transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute strategic initiatives
• Working in an agile technology delivery program
• Defining a customer journey and digital product roadmap
• Product backlog management, including Feature definition, requirements, prioritization and sprint planning
• Close partnership with a Technology Delivery team
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship building
• Executive communication, with the ability to influence decision making
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills, and be able to explain complex concepts both concisely and simply
• or equivalent combination of education and experience.
