Duties: 1.Provides strong instructional leadership and provides feedback to support teaching staff.2.Monitors the implementation of curricular programs that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.3.Evaluates and guides the learning process toward the achievement of District goals.4.Collaboratively leads data analysis and instructional planning meetings related to student progress.5.Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and creates a culture of respect while building positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the community.6.Supports a building behavior plan through the implementation of PBIS.7.Is an active supporter and participant in the Leader in Me program.8.Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.9.Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.10.Implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct, and, for the classroom, oversees reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.11.Other duties as assigned by Superintendent/PrincipalPlease complete and submit an administrative application (found at https://galioncitysdoh.sites.thrillshare.com/page/employment-opportunities), letter of interest, resume, references and copies of certifications to: human.resources@galionschools.org
