Job Description


Intel is seeking an International Tax Senior Manager to join our corporate tax department and play an integral role in our team. This position will be based primarily in our headquarters in Santa Clara, California and will report to Senior Tax Director - Planning and U.S. Compliance and will take on managing the day-to-day operations of U.S. international tax compliance and planning.

Job responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Develop and manage work plans and assist in implementation of international tax planning projects.
  • Assist with potential mergers, acquisitions, and post- acquisition integration transactions.
  • Managing tax attributes to support cross-border tax reorganization and cash repatriation transactions, including planning to maximize foreign tax credit utilization.
  • Gather data and model to understand various U.S. international tax implications on global cash repatriation efforts and significant cross-border transactions.
  • Review U.S. federal income tax returns, including capturing the expected U.S. tax consequences and elections and disclosures, prepared by external tax advisors.
  • Collaborate with tax teams outside the U.S. on U.S. and foreign tax legislations to strategically assess implications on existing structures.
  • Collaborate with tax operations team, and assist with tax forecasts and quarterly tax provisions on matters relating to U.S. international tax.
  • Provide strategic direction for resolution of global tax controversy by reviewing and responding to Information Document Requests (IDRs).
  • Research and document international tax issues.
  • Identify and assist in process improvement, including streamlining and automation of recurring calculations.

In addition the ideal candidate should also have the following skills:

  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Skills to work effectively with cross functional teams and meet targeted deadlines for project completion.
  • Strong quantitative and modeling skills.
  • Excellent research and writing, as well as strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and interpersonal skills.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and/or Master of Science in Taxation (MST) is required.

6+ years of experience in:

  • The tax function at a multinational corporation and/or a public accounting firm.
  • GILTI, BEAT, Subpart F, FDII and other U.S. international tax areas.
  • U.S. GAAP reporting for a global multinational company, including internal controls and SOX 404 requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Law degree from a U.S. based law school is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP, CorpTax and/or OneSource software a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $138,460.00-$207,100.00
  • Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
