JOB SUMMARY
A Cape Cod manufacturing & design company has an opening for a
Inventory Control Coordinator to join their team. The
Inventory Control Coordinator will have primary responsibility
responsible for the accuracy locations of the storing and distribution of all materials. The
Inventory Control Coordinator will also get involved with
assisting the procurement team in buying & purchasing responsibilities.
The role requires someone to be local to be the Boston area and will be in the office a few days each week.

Job Description:
- Assists Material Handlers pulling materials and kitting from various assigned stock locations
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of incoming/outgoing material and correctly entering and removing inventory from inventory management software
- Leads cycle counting on a predetermined basis and communicates with management about inventory issues
- Leads the investigate and resolves inventory inaccuracies and provide root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actions to management
- Define and establish metrics, measure and compare against benchmarks, monitor change control, and continuously optimize process for assigned locations
- Assist in other areas such as shipping and receiving or other operations as needed
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prior experience running reports to fix variances among inventories.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
