Warehouse Inventory Coordinator/Analyst - Operations, Animal Health
Our Canal Winchester, OH National Distribution Service Center is seeking a Business Analyst responsible for providing analytical support to the operation. This position compiles, analyzes, reports and interprets statistical data from a variety of sources to assist management in evaluating the effectiveness of existing efforts and in establishing strategic goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides research, analysis, and data to enable cost containment and improve Operations and Logistics processes. Evaluates business trends and processes and makes recommendations for process improvement and cost savings.
- Collects, analyzes, and summarizes operational key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis, identifying trends and areas of opportunity. Compiles and analyzes data for reporting purposes and metrics development.
- Partners with Operations Leadership Team to compare and analyze department based and collective Distribution Center performance.
- Collaborates with procurement team, sourcing adequate inventory based on forecasts and trends to maintain service levels.
- Assist in providing data required to build cost to serve analysis of supplier partners. Supporting detail to for budgetary needs.
- Work with Operations leadership team on item profiling and facility mapping to consistently drive an effective & efficient working environment.
- Provides inventory team support on cycle counts, recalls and other tasks to ensure proper internal and external compliance is met.
- Completes assigned projects on time and with thorough supporting documentation.
- Supports the day-to-day analytical requests of both internal and external clients.
- Completes other duties, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in Business, Information Systems, or Transportation/Logistics preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 1-3 years operations or analytic experience, preferably within the distribution industry.
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
COMPETENCIES NEEDED
- Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products
- Must possess strong oral and written communication, presentation, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities
- Detail oriented
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to work in an independent environment as well as collaborate within and outside the Operations division
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Extensive computer use.
