Description:

The position will provide analysis, functional support, and maintenance of the System wide IT Asset Management lifecycle process. Responsible for reporting and analyzing TIS hardware and software assets and providing proper tracking and review of software license agreements. Provides assistance in analyzing and resolving hardware and software asset issues and problems. Work activities require operational knowledge of supported TIS Asset Management processes and the ability to analyze and facilitate asset management issues in order to meet the customer business needs. Works closely with TIS colleagues involved in Asset Management processes across Health Ministries and geographic locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
  • Analyzes and recommends IT asset life-cycle management including procurement, deployment, monitoring, auditing, validation, tracking, expense and use reporting, and disposal.
  • Analyzes and recommends policies and procedures for tracking IT assets and opportunities for maximizing or exploiting unused or partially used assets to achieve full efficiency and ROI from company resources.
  • Analyzes and provides recommendations regarding inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets in accordance with Trinity Health security policies.
  • Maintains TIS Software License Servers such as those from Microsoft, IBM and others in order to ensure the appropriate license software data is in the correct database and allow users system access.
  • Interfaces with and assist various management and staff in order to enforce TIS Asset Management software and hardware standards, policies and procedures.
  • Creates documentation and reports for multiple audiences including internal department, all levels of management and customers.
  • Develops customer client relationships effectively to support customer business needs.
  • Interfaces with other TIS support teams or customers in gathering information, coordinating delivery dates, establishing necessary processes and coordinating problem resolution.
  • Works with the Configuration Management team to ensure reconciliation of Asset Management data to Configuration Items within the ITSM CMDB.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two (2) years related experience. Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Manager (CHAMP) certifications a plus.
  • Ability to create reports using industry standard tools preferred.
  • Ability to apply regulatory requirements.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to participate in customer and inter-team meetings.
  • Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
