IT MES Engineer

Reports to: IT Team Manager

SUMMARY

The IT MES Engineer is responsible for maintenance of MES and MES Report, and for performing system process innovation based on system users requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, providing system setup, installation and upgrade of MES and software. Will troubleshoot MES/MES Report/SpotFire/PowerBI/Web Systemss problems in a timely and efficient manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and develop, and maintenance for MES and MES Report.

Manage and develop, maintenance for daily KPI, aggregate programs of production KPI index.

Manage and develop, and maintenance for production monitoring system (status board, dashboard, efficiency trend, etc.)

Monitor and execute solutions for the issues on MES and MES Report.

Troubleshooting on MES system issues.

Prepare and maintain the documentation on MES changes and issues.

Process bills on IT department.

Manage IT hardware devices such as computers, monitors, scanners, printers etc.

Manage OA devices such as smartphones, telephones, conference call devices, composite instruments, projectors, etc.

Provide IT resource support and trainings for the employees.

Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.

Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field

2+ years of IT related experience

2+ years of C#.net development experience

2+ years of SQL experience with MS SQL

1+ year of system experience about Semiconductor, Solar, LCD and related business

Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player

Bilingual in English and Korean

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday

Able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction

Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Q Cells

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Oracle and MYSQL DB

Experience with UI development by DevExpress language

Experience with DBMS and middleware development and management

Database tuning Experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows OSs (from Windows 7 to the latest edition)

Certifications related to databases and programming languages

Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
