IT Support Job at Community Health Connections, Inc.
Provides support and training to staff regarding hardware, software and telephone related matters. Oversees system backups, resolve help desk issues, and assists in development of system policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Major responsibilities:
- Provides hardware, software and telephone support to CHC IT customers.
- Provides customers support and training in the use of existing and new technologies, including audio/visual equipment.
- Maintains accurate and timely I.T. records, including inventory of all hardware and software.
- Ability to work with and direct outside contractors.
- Answer, resolve and document help desk calls.
- Provides backup support to the System Manager with hardware and software issues.
- Works with teammates to provide network assistance to all CHC sites.
- Detailed knowledge of PC operating systems and desktop applications deployed at CHC.
- The ability to deal with sensitive information in a highly confidential manner.
- Demonstrate understanding and commitment of the health center mission.
- Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the established CHC Values and Standards.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related field or 1-year similar work experience required; 2 years’ experience preferred.
- A desire to learn new technologies and willing to apply problem solving and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Able to interact daily with CHC staff with varying technical competency levels.
