Job Description
The IT Technician is an IT professional who provides on-site services for all NAYA locations under the direction of our IT Manager. Responsible for installing and maintaining networks, computer systems, whitelisted software and hardware; servicing computers and mobile devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install network hardware as well as set up and installation of new computing hardware in our New York, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Connecticut locations
• Use remote access software to install pre-approved software Monitor and update software
• Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
• Provide phone and email support for our team, as needed
• Repair and troubleshoot computer systems, mobile, and networking hardware both on-site and remotely
• QA device repairs and software installations based on our frameworks
• Configure and maintain logs of machine issues, errors, and repairs on every machine evaluated and serviced

REQUIREMENTS

• In-depth knowledge of Toast POS Knowledge of Chowly and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of IT applications, processes, and software
• Sense of urgency to respond to all restaurant related operational issues, in person and through email
• Ability to multi – task and adapt to changes quickly
• Skill in planning and preparing written communication
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, stretch and twist
• Able to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to be in the field as required by the task
• Ability to travel as needed, including during NRO’s that may require overnight stay
• Willing to work and or be on call, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Position requires daily store visits and travel to NAYA locations including those located outside of New York (PA; CT; NJ)

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS

• Fast-Casual experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, computer science or related field (graduate degree a plus)
• Minimum two years’ experience working in IT operations
• Certifications and continuing education preferred
