National Aviation Services is looking for a Building Maintenance Supervisor to help, supervise, and coordinate the building services at our Denver International Airport location. Applicant must be willing to work weekends, and holidays as airports never close. Applicant must lead by example, and be willing to work in a busy environment. Applicant must have previous supervisor and maintenance/janitorial experience. The hourly rate for this position is $19.43 per hour, plus an additional $6.41 in fringe and travel benefits per each physical hour worked. This is an overnight position - applicant must have overnight availability. Bilingual (English & Spanish) Preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
Other Duties may be assigned.

• Assigns tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards.
• Issues supplies and equipment.
• Resolves workers' problems or refers matters to manager.
• Records employees' hours worked on shift reports.
• Submits requests for repair of cleaning equipment.
• Requisitions or purchases cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Performs duties of workers supervised.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
• Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
• Work any shift, including weekends and holidays
• Work overtime on short notice in emergencies or when operationally necessary
