The primary role of the Jr. Loan Processor’s role is to consistency, accurately, and efficiently move files through the pipeline to closing. Their role is to support act as liaison for sales, closing, investor relations and the Underwriting Departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a full-time position that requires regular, reliable and punctual attendance. To perform this job effectively, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Review all new loan applications to ensure compliance guidelines
• Collect all conditions needed throughout process, interfacing directly with escrow officers, title officers, insurance agents, appraisers, and investors.
• Conducts daily review and follow-up with vendors regarding outstanding items, pre or post-closing
• Performs data entry to update all internal computer systems and loan files with notes regarding all actions that affect the loan in accordance with company requirements.
• Maintains contact with customer a sales team to provide status updates
• Reviews title reports, payoffs, appraisals, income documents, hazard insurance, and all supporting conditions for required standard compliance prior to Funding
• Loan Documentation review and quality control.
• Prioritize and monitor daily workflow in order to ensure all loans are being worked on in accordance with company's timeline expectations
• Obtain any funding conditions issued by funding department
• Assist with any post-closing issues as needed.
• Prepare and organize files for processing review
• Prepare any subordination paperwork and packages to lenders.
• Will maintain active pipeline of minimum of 50 loans
• Must be able to prioritize time sensitive deadlines.
• Can process both purchase and refinance transactions.
• Stay abreast of all new Underwriting and TRID guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Retail environment processing
• Encompass experience
• Familiar with reading AUS & confirming STIPS needed to move file forward
• Experience running AUS, HOI, Pay Offs, VOEs, HOA Certs, etc.
• Experience ordering appraisals
• Experience sending locked loan estimates
• Experience sending Change of Circumstance disclosures
• Familiar with encompass bucket system
• Able to complete order out tasks and organization on file within 24 hours of elevation

Skills

• High organization skills
• High sense of urgency
• Proven working experience in a loan processor role
• Good knowledge of banking computer software and MS Office
• Comprehension of direct/indirect lending procedures
• In-depth understanding of relevant rules and regulations
• Excellent communication and sales skills
• Balance between customer satisfaction orientation and a results driven approach
• BSc degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
