The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting accounting and payment processes.
This hybrid position is based in Secaucus, NJ within our Controlling function, and reports to our Assistant Accounting Manager.
Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
- Participate in financial closing processes
- Management of cash balances among multiple banks and accounts
- Analysis, reporting, and follow up on invoice processing
- Assist in all payment related activities as needed
- Analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Review payment runs
- Administration of travel and expense report system
- Preparation of schedules and journal entries required for monthly closings
- Preparation of monthly intercompany invoices sent to foreign affiliates
- Reviews and posts intercompany invoices received from foreign affiliates
- Reconciliation of inventory invoices and receipt “Diff List”
- Preparation of Corporate reports
- Assist with 1099 reporting
- Assist in special projects as needed
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience working with financial system programs
- Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment in a professional manner
- Effective communicator, positive attitude, and works well in team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and inquisitive
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Hiring Range is $52,442 - $58,343 annually**
