Job Description – Product Marketing Manager – MSP Segment
At Kaseya, our world class Product Marketers create and tell inspirational stories that drive bookings. We develop product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, competitive intelligence, pricing and packaging strategies and provide sales enablement.
Product Marketers work closely with Kaseya leadership, product managers, demand generation, and sales to drive new customer acquisition, cross sell, and renewals. As a product marketer, you are responsible for
- Working with the product management team to define positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging for your assigned segment, sales motion, and product line(s)
- Working with the product management team to assess the competitive environment and creating optimal messaging
- Developing the strategic marketing plan to drive demand gen campaigns, including:
- Thought Leadership Content (white papers, eBooks, surveys, blogs)
- Campaign Assets (emails, website, infographics, checklists, interactive content, videos, webinars, etc.)
- Product Content (product briefs, demo and explainer videos, product webpages, case studies, etc.)
- Sales Tools and Enablement
- Owning product launches to drive awareness of Kaseya’s market-leading technology
- Owning campaign strategy and working with the India-based content teams to execute high quality lead generation and nuture campaigns
- Owning the customer journey and assessing the touch point process to optimize key components of a technical B2B sale, such as demos and trials
- Analyzing data to continually improve lead generation and conversion rates
The Product Marketing Manager for New Sales Acquisition for the MSP segment will focus on driving large scale thought leadership-based campaigns for our Virtual Systems Administrator (VSA) solution for the MSP segment. The key to success in this role is having a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of MSP owners and IT technicians, grabbing their attention, and then developing nurture programs to ensure the leads move through the sales process and result in a closed sale. A data-driven approach to product marketing is essential for this role.
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years’ experience in product marketing for a software/SaaS company
- Domain experience in the Small to Mid-Sized Business (SMB) market and/or MSP segments
- Domain experience in IT management software preferred
- Able to travel 20%
- BS Degree in Business or Technical field (MBA preferred)
