Kitchen Lead Job at Pyramid Healthcare Inc
Five 8 hour shifts per week. AM/PM Cooking Shifts as needed (6am-2pm; 11:30Am-7:30pm)
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
Food inventory and food ordering.
- Prepare a major meal, following recipes and determining group food quantities.
- Supervise food production or service
- Analyze menus or recipes, standardize recipes, or test new products.
- Knowledgeable with recipes/preparation.
- Organize food storage areas.
- Consistent monitoring temperatures on all equipment.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen in compliance with all health codes.
- Follow all menus
- Follows all ServSafe guidelines/sets example for dietary cooks
- Other duties as assigned
Technical Competencies: Good personal hygiene. Ability to keep kitchen clean and stick to controlled portions of food. Able to control costs. ServSafe training.
Physical Demands: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk & hear. The employee is often required to sit or stand for long periods of time, reach, bend, & move about the facility. Normal, corrective vision range ability to see color & to distinguish letters, numbers, & symbols. Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry fifty (50) pounds.
