JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assign specific duties to all employees for efficient operation of the kitchen
• Ensure recipes are being followed correctly
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, storage and rotation of food products, so as to comply with DBPR Regulations
• Adhere to control procedures for cost and quality
• Knowledge of inventory controls, food and labor costs
• Hire, train and supervise kitchen staff in the proper preparation of menu items
• Discipline and terminate employees when necessary
• Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen equipment, to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
• Manage kitchen with a, “hands on approach”
• Ensure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate with perspective clients

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years culinary management
• High School degree
• Full Availability-AM/PM, weekends and holidays
• Strong interpersonal and conflict skills resolution
• Clean background check
• Clean driving record
• Initiative and self-starter
• Flexibility to adapt to any changes
• Team player
• Excellent guest recovery skills
• Ability to stand for several hours and lift a minimum of 80lbs, bend, twist and reach
• Possess a passion for food and hospitality
