Kitchen – Team Member
Forest Glen Christian Camps is a retreat camp, and our mission is “To provide an environment where a person encounters God.” We are looking for others who enjoy preparing food and serving our campers to help create memorable moments that will count towards eternity.
Job Schedule
- Part-time
- Full time hours during busy season
- Schedule is mostly Friday to Sunday
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist in cooking and serving meals
- Help create a Christian environment for the other kitchen staff and guest
- Will prepare and properly store food according to food safety standards
- May be assigned to assist with food deliveries
- Clean up after mealtime and reset the dining area
Requirements
- Adhere to Forest Glen’s Statement of Faith
- Have or obtain food handlers during training
- Cooking experience not required, but helpful
- High school diploma preferred
- Must be available on weekends and evenings
