• This position is located at our customer site in New Haven, CT.

• Stockroom and inventory management, chemical management, glassware and autoclave service.
• Follow procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOP’s & work instructions. Take direction from Site Team Leader (and Lead Service Support Rep.) regarding daily duties.
• Promote personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements without the presence of site trainer and management team.
• Listens to customer concerns, diffuse dissatisfaction, and quickly identify course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times.

• Inspection, preventative maintenance and cleaning of lab equipment, schedule and facilitate pipette calibrations
• Perform glassware, autoclave and freezer defrost services
• Chemical receipt, registration, tracking, reconciliation, cycle counting, and facilitation of disposal
• Requisition of required materials associated with job functions
• Build and maintain site work instructions and SOPs, cross-train in all services to provide coverage for colleagues.
• May perform a portfolio of other services including: inventory management, stockroom duties, disbursements, stock rotation, cycle counts, detrashing, shipping, receiving, and other functions according to service level requirements.

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Display a high level of confidentiality
• Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ Four-I Values
• Must have two or more years of dynamic shown experience

• Possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the communication skills to look after various levels of personnel.
• Deliver excellent customer service to include maintaining a professional appearance.
• Possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet timelines.
• Must be proficient with a computer and the Microsoft Office suite of software with proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook highly valued.

• Works at customer location, in office environment to include cubicles, laboratories, and/or shipping/receiving docks
• Extensive walking/standing for 70-80% of the day
• Ability to lift, push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently and lift 50 pounds and use material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks
• Able to work the hours required to get the job done
