Cosette is headquartered in Bridgewater, NJ with 2 additional locations in the U.S. The South Plainfield, NJ office consists of an R&D Laboratory and other functional areas. The Lincolnton, NC site is a fully functioning, state of the art, manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:
This position provides administrative and laboratory support services to the Product Development team. Scope of duties includes word processing, copying and filing of all departmental documents, review of data transcriptions in the reports, distributing, collecting, and storing sample/ lab supplies, washing/drying/distributing glassware to appropriate location within laboratory; assist with cleaning laboratory facilities, disposal of solvents as per the site EHS requirements, performing physical tests and preparing labels and sample jars; and ordering supplies and shipping samples to outside labs.
Work Performed:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Laboratory Operation:
- Manufacture lab scale R&D batches to support product development scientists
- Package finished products into suitable packaging components
- Perform physical tests (minimum fills, viscosity, consistency, pH, etc)
- Maintain active ingredients, raw materials and packaging components inventory
- Receive and store incoming excipients and products
- Record supplies in log books
- Refill shelves with -reagents, chemicals, etc. on a regular basis
- Check and maintain inventories of RLD, market product
- Collect dirty laboratory glassware, clean using laboratory dishwasher; Distribute cleaned glassware to the respective areas
- Dispose of solvents as per EHS requirements
- Record chart temperature in CRT and Retain Room daily
- Calibrate Laboratory Balances on a daily basis
- Assist in preparing R&D batches finished product/stability sample labels
- Pull stability samples on time from respected stability chambers
- Review Data transcriptions in Reports
- Order and receive office/lab supplies
- Receive shipments from other site or outside vendor, save CoA’s or related documents to the respective folder
Word Processing/Tracking:
- Prepare summary data sheets for all R&D batches evaluation
- Monitor chemical, packaging and finished product inventory
- Prepare labels for R&D batch finished products and stability samples
General:
- Prepare limit invoices and ship samples for outside lab testing
- Copy and file PD reports to various departments
- Archive documents/notebooks from Document Retain Room
- Scan and share various documents, reports, protocols, notebooks etc. with respected departments

Qualifications:
Position requires competency with Microsoft Office Suite. Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and laboratory environment.
Education:
High School Diploma is required. Associate’s degree a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of related pharmaceutical experience required.
Minimum of one year of experience as a laboratory assistant, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry.
