Job Title: Digital Vinyl Technician / Laminator
Shift: Day shift, 6 AM to 2:30PM
Pay: $15/hr
Job Description:
Express Employment Professiona is seeking a Digital Vinyl Technician/Laminator. This a great opportunity to join a large format printing company that provides a wide variety of services to advertising agencies who service name-brand national companies such as Starbucks, McDonalds, Nike, and American Airlines. As a Digital Vinyl Technician / Laminator, you will be responsible for cutting out, installing, and packaging finished products. Your duties will include communicating with printers, cutting out printed products using a straight edge and utility knife, applying pre-mask and label panels, and applying protective coatings with clear coat or lamination. Additionally, you will be responsible for rolling up and packaging products in preparation for shipping, and general office clean-up that may involve lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Experience in large format printing and cutting vinyl graphics
- Knowledge of various laminates and protective coatings
- Familiarity with print production and quality control
- Proficient in using cutting tools and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong communication skills to work with printers and other team members
- High school diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check before assignment
- Reliable transportation to and from work as the bus lines will not work for this location. and time frame
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
