Position Summary:

Seeking a dedicated individual with the desire to learn and build a career while exceeding the highest quality of safety standards. This position performs various tasks at a C&D (Construction and Demolition) landfill.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Properly follow all company policies and landfill regulations.
• Responsible for general upkeep and maintenance of landfill area.
• Manually screens material to ensure compliance.
• Reviews and cleans perimeter of property to control loose debris.
• Assists with directing flow of incoming customer traffic.
• Operates a variety of light duty equipment.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday 6:30 to 5:30

Saturday 7:00 to 3:00

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to airborne particles. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
