The function of the Landscaping Designer is to procure work for the Residential side of the Residential/High End Commercial department. With the assistance from the Project Manager, this role will control work from the initial contact through to the close of the contract and final payment. The Designer will use hand drawn or CAD to design planting and hardscapes in a way that will provide the potential customer with the necessary information to make an informed decision regarding their landscape. The designer reports progress/budgets/ and final payments to the Director.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
· Customer Relationships
· Communication with the Department and the Director.
· Pricing/Budgeting/Communication with Accounting
· Material Procurement
· Project oversight
This role is incentivized and can collect from the profits as a direct result of their sales.
Job Requirements:
BA in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
4 years’ experience in landscape design or similar.
Preferred but not required:
Landscape field experience
Management experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
