Job Title: Laser Light Show Technician
Reports To: Director of Museum Experience
Classification: Part-time, Seasonal
Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 5:00 PM – 10:30 PM from May 25 – September 2. Also requires a mandatory orientation and training session on Monday, May 22 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
Compensation: $15/hour. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.

Summary
Calling all outgoing music lovers!

The Laser Light Technician is a member of the team responsible for set up, execution, and break down of The Bishop’s
Laser Light Nights in the Planetarium Theatre.

Essential Functions

• Operate the laser projectors and computer to run the Laser Light Shows – no experience necessary, we will train you on May 22.
• Operate the concession stand, including processing cash and credit card payments and serving alcohol.
• Assist event staff with set up and break down including moving tables and picking up trash.
• Sell merchandise through the Museum’s Square account.
• Perform Museum closing procedures at the end of the shift.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

• Must be able to lift and move 30 pounds. This position requires full mobility including walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
