A Lawn Care Specialist will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to lawn mowing, weed eating, hedge trimming, leaf blowing/removal, edging and pruning. In the spring, summer and fall, the Lawn Care Specialist will also be responsible for assisting in planting and transplanting of a variety of plants, flowers and sod.
Responsibilities:
- Enjoy working outside
- Learn or know how to operate a zero-turn lawn mower, weed eater, edger, hedge trimmer, and backpack blower
- Learn or know proper equipment maintance.
- Pick up trash when sited
- Pick up sticks and storm debris
- Maintain a lawn in a healthy and professional manner.
- Maintain multiple lawns at the same time.
- Maintain lawn in all weather conditions.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the safe use of chemicals and equipment.
- Answer questions from customers about lawn care.
- Be on time for work, each day.
- Team player
Job Qualifications:
- Transportation to and from the business address in Monticello, FL
- Valid Drivers license
- Must show 1 year of experience in lawncare or lanscaping.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Monticello, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
