Lead Counter Associate Job at F.W. Webb Company
F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Lead Counter Associate for its South Boston, MA location.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise day to day operations of the counter team, including:
- Customer service and handling customer needs and requests.
- Condition of SSV, Merchandising and replenishment of inventory.
- Neatness and cleanliness of counter and store.
- Handle and process credit returns and restock of product.
- Promote events and set up and arrange promotions and advertising.
- Assessing and delegating workload to the team.
- Greet customers and create a positive FW Webb experience with every interaction
- Assist customers with checking inventory and placing orders
- Pull, check, and pack products for customers
- Facilitate transfers between other FW Webb locations
- Check on parts, pricing, and availability from outside vendors
- Process returns, debit memos, and warranties
- Face, fill, and restock shelves
- Effectively multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous counter experience preferred.
- Must be able to work first shift, daytime hours.
- Effective verbal, written, and computer skills required.
- Must be customer service focused and quality oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
