The Technical Intelligence Department delivers impactful engineering analyses to rapidly transform current and future warfighter operations in contested and denied environments. We accomplish this through close interaction with our United States Air Force (USAF), United States Space Force (USSF), and other sponsors as well as with senior leadership in the Intelligence, Acquisition, and Warfighting communities. Our engineering analysis is informed by intelligence assessments of both adversarial kill chains and analysis of threats to US kill chains. We conduct engineering assessments of advanced and evolving threats, perform end-to-end effects chain analysis, develop digital engineering architectures for Intelligence applications, identify potential threat mitigation options, and perform experimentation of threat mitigation capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering analysis of information contained in sensitive intelligence to support modeling, simulation, and analytical assessments of PNT systems
  • Develop tailored, engineering-level Intelligence products that provide deep insights into PNT threats and directly enable engineering research, experimentation, prototype development, acquisition, test and evaluation, and operational execution of PNT-threat mitigation solutions
  • Conduct engineering threat system analysis and/or independent engineering assessments for multiple Services, Agencies, and organizations who are involved with engineering research, experimentation, prototype development, acquisition, test and evaluation, or operational execution of PNT-threat mitigation solutions
  • Work collaboratively across MITRE to ensure that our sponsors benefit from the breadth of corporate expertise

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience
  • 3 years of PNT experience; 3 years of Intelligence Community experience
  • An active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of ground, air, or space architectures
  • Experience working with testing community
  • Ability to assess detailed, engineering level susceptibilities
  • Ability to determine risk levels, develop test strategies and architectures, and to develop risk mitigation concepts
