KidTown Child Care and Preschool is a ministry of Overlake Christian Church and provides quality early childhood education, loving care and enriching experiences in a warm, Christ-centered environment. We believe each child is uniquely created by God as a special person and recognize that a child's development is an individual process.
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic staff to join our team. Lead teachers work in partnership with Assistant teachers to implement the planned curriculum and build valuable relationships with the children. Lead Teachers plan and direct classroom activities and communication with families. Assistants lead the class in the after school program and have opportunity to plan and lead. Candidates need to have a caring demeanor and able to cope with the pressures of caring for young children. They must possess good communication skills to work alongside other staff and parents. They should have a strong work ethic and be passionate about helping families. We are looking to add staff to our KidTown family that understand the importance of early childhood education and how a positive, loving childhood is foundational to how a person grows and develops. Experience in a child care or preschool facility is preferred, experience caring for children in some capacity is required. High school diploma required. There is a probationary period upon hire for new staff to complete the mandatory trainings outlined by DCYF. All training links and background check will provided/explained as needed.
