Role: Lead QA Automation Tester

Duration: Full-Time

Location: ONSITE in Southlake, TX – Locals to TX only

Job Description:

Looking for a Lead QA Automation Tester to join our team at our global Headquarters in Southlake, TX.

In this role, you will assist in the development, review, and execution of system test cases; perform back-end testing; write defects on problems found; report status to management on testing activities; and provide support for end-to-end program testing in a development environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality web/software applications. Contribute to general test planning and execution for performance testing. Assist in the creation and execution of automation testing and load/stress testing.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives

• Should co-ordinate between onshore & offshore teams

• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution

• Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases

• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function

• Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium C#

• Upgrade automation framework

• Design, Execute and analyze automation test scripts & test results for Web applications

• Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using JIRA

• Support during production deployment of applications and perform “validation testing” during the off-hours maintenance windows

Requirements/Skills:

If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skills and/or experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field and 5-8 years formal web/software requirements documentation/testing experience

• 6+ years of experience in software automation using Selenium, C# and .Net

• Experienced with Agile testing

• Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive and concise documentation

• Experience accessing and manipulating database data using SQL

• Experience with Postman, Swagger, SoapUI is plus

• Strong working knowledge of Internet/web applications

• Excellent problem solving, and analytical skills, with aptitude for learning and creativity.

• Ability to work independently with little supervision and in a team environment

• Proven ability to adapt and support changing priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $68,049.45 - $100,000.00 per year
