Job Title: Lease Operator

Location: Williston, North Dakota

Reports to: Operations Foreman

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

The Lease Operator will be responsible for maintaining the field Health, Safety & Environment standards. In addition, you will monitor and test oil and gas wells as per Crescent Point/Regulatory guidelines and optimize production rates. As the Lease Operator, you may be required to operate any combination of oil and gas wells or battery/gas compression facilities. The candidate should reside in the Williston, North Dakota area due to the location of the role and the frequent traveling that is required.

Main Responsibilities & Activities:

• Responsible for the safe and effective operation of all plant and field facilities
• Monitor well performance, fluid levels and production equipment
• Well testing, BS&W determination, and area proration status
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and safety equipment to high standards
• Demonstrate complete working knowledge of all facilities
• Make quick and accurate assessments by taking corrective actions to safely control and minimize losses
• Deal effectively with landowners, suppliers, contractors, and co-workers
• Accept on-call duty and respond to callouts as required
• Supervise contract and maintenance crews

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• 4th Class Power Engineering, GPO certification, and/or process technology training are assets
• A minimum of two years of operator or related experience is preferred
• A valid Driver's License
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening test
• Must be acceptable to ever-changing conditions
• Must be flexible and available to work long shifts and overtime as needed
• Strong communication, organizational and team skills complemented with a strong work ethic
• Must be accepting and receptive to new ideas
• Safety training that is up to date which includes: PEC/Safeland, H2S Clear and First-aid and CPR or be willing to complete all necessary safety training.
• Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
