Position Summary
Leasing Associate (Full Time, In office)
Industry City is seeking a driven and motivated professional to join the Leasing Team as a Leasing Associate. This position will be part of a team-based environment and support Industry City’s leasing team in the successful and timely execution of office and specialty-use lease transactions; marketing initiatives; pitch meetings; and other tasks related to leasing efforts. This is an on-site (Brooklyn, NY) position.
Responsibilities
Assist with lease transactions including preparing proposals, tracking and supporting the advancement of deal negotiations, and managing transitions from deal closing to tenant coordination, and renewals.
- Cultivate relationships with real estate brokers in addition to attending networking events and joining various real estate organizations.
- Facilitate and conduct property related tours.
- Research market conditions and economic trends.
- Develop competitive analysis for commercial buildings and industries.
- Develop, present, and roll out canvasing campaigns to specific companies / industries.
- Day-to-day data management, project assistance, and project management.
Base salary for this role is expected to be between $75,000-80,000. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of commercial real estate, the NYC CRE market, and an interest in pursuing a career in commercial leasing.
- 1-‐3 years experience in the real estate industry.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, organization, and writing skills.
- Strong computer skills – MS Excel, Word, Outlook – CoStar experience a plus.
- The ability to work within a team and independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
