Evergreen Campus Rentals is a locally owned and operated property management company located in West Lafayette, IN. Our family has been serving the housing needs of Purdue & IUK students and residents of the Kokomo, Lafayette and West Lafayette communities since 1974.

We have a wide variety of properties to meet housing needs. Several of our locations are within walking distance to IUK Kokomo, Purdue University as well as downtown Lafayette. Apartment options include efficiencies, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and four-bedroom apartments, townhouses, and single-family homes. A Day in the Life of a Leasing Specialist

As a Leasing Specialist the opportunity for providing world class customer service is limitless. The Leasing Specialist is responsible for being a primary contact for residents and prospective residents by leasing apartments, facilitating renewals, coordinating resident activities, and maintaining resident relations. While touring with future residents, you will be expected to close the deal by helping them find their perfect new home. We are looking to hire a Leasing Specialist with superb customer service and interpersonal skills. Leasing Specialist must be goal-driven with strong organizational and decision-making skills.

A successful Leasing Specialist should be professional and well informed while displaying a solution-oriented approach in order to match a client’s needs to properties that are available. Top candidates will be accomplished networkers who have remarkable negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Leasing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage all leases from potential and existing clients.
• Coordinate property viewings, follow-ups, and updating of contact management database.
• Market all rental listings through scheduled individual showings.
• Coordinate and schedule lease applications, and adhere to compliance requirements.
• Execute new lease agreements and coordinate move-in processes.
• Prepare all lease-related paperwork.
• Plan and implement marketing strategies to generate traffic.
• Manage regulatory and compliance-related services.
• Respond to queries/leads and conduct property inspections.
• Support general advisory needs associated with a large-scale real estate portfolio.

Leasing Specialist Requirements:

• 1 Year of experience as a leasing consultant (preferred).
• Proven skills in managing leases for high-volume properties.
• Basic understanding of federal, state, and local rental regulations and compliance.
• Knowledge of rental agreements.
• Solution-oriented thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Well-informed individual who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work towards and meet targets.
• Capable networker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Normal office hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are flexible around class schedules. Must be able to work some Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
