You will drive a refrigerated CDL B box truck with a lift gate to deliver bagged ice and other ice products such as ice blocks and freezers to customers mostly located in Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas, Charlotte, Hillsborough and Lee County. You will load ice onto a cart at stops for delivery or use electric pallet jack for appropriate stops with outdoor freezers. You will come in each day and will load your own truck with an electric pallet jack. This job requires repeated lifting and bending and you will typically deliver around 1200-1600 bags of ice per day. Knowledge of the delivery areas, electric pallet jack experience, and experience with direct store delivery are big positives for applicants.

Drivers earn a productivity based bonus depending on the quantity of product delivered. This typically will bring average pay for the week to between 22-30 dollars per hour.

The health insurance benefit begins after having worked three months for the company after the 90 day probationary hiring period has ended.
