Location: Mary Giella Elementary School, 14710 Shady Hills Road, Spring Hill
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating, organizing, and facilitating the school library media/technology program with emphasis on the library media collection development, instructing students and staff in effective use of the media center, and information and technology literacy skills within the school setting while working in collaboration with the school administration, teachers, and other staff.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Library Science, Education, or related field
- Two years’ experience successfully teaching in a K-12 school
- OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position
- Must hold a Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Library Media Certification
- Must hold a Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Educator certification
