We are an established spa with a full schedule of clients. We have expanded and moved into a beautiful brand new facility. We are a team oriented culture with a positive environment. We are looking for a full or part time massage therapist to join our team. Must be available some day and night shifts and at least every other Saturday.

• All linens and supplies provided.
• Online scheduling and receptionist on staff.
• Clients are established.
• Ongoing advertising provided.
• Retirement match .
• Pay Rate: This is an employee position with a guaranteed hourly rate , commission, tips and a retirement plan. Hourly rate is based on experience and rages from $36-$40 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed through the state of Michigan for Massage Therapy and maintain license.
• Knowledge of deep tissue, clinical therapy, Pre Natal, therapeutic massage techniques and body treatments.
• 1 year experience in massage.
• Must be a team player, respectful of others and give excellent customer service.
• Must be able to educate clients on the benefits of massage.
• Must be able to sell a minimum of 3 packages per week.
• Must be able to retain clients.
• Comfortable in upgrading clients with add- on services to increase service ticket average.

Responsibilities:

• Perform consecutive 15-minute to 90-minute quality massage therapy sessions and Body Wraps.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client files after each visit
• Promote the health and wellness benefits to Clients of receiving massage therapy on a regular basis and recommend treatment plans and packages.
• Create excellent experience for Clients through a helpful and friendly attitude.
• Generate new Clients through promoting our office and services.
• Attend Expos and perform chair massage to promote our office and services
• Educate Clients about our retail products and comfortable with sales.
• Required to meet goals for service and retail sales.
• Follow guidelines for service protocols.
• Train new employees on signature services and protocols.
• Attend Staff Meetings and Training.
• Follow the protocol for Services.
• Cleaning and Laundry duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
