Elk Run, a beautiful 62-unit Assisted Living campus located in scenic Evergreen, CO, is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team. In this role, you will assist the Director of Health Services in coordinating care for residents, assist with assessments, wound care, organize and schedule appropriate clinical department coverage, manage the daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts. You will also assist in resident care to help with staffing ratios. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excels at multitasking, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

LPN responsibilities:

• Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
• Interview candidates for open clinical positions.
• Track continuing educational programs for staff.
• Create training plans for new nursing staff.
• Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
• Process incident reports and work comp claims.
• Support with resident care on the nursing floor to fill shifts.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
• On call rotation with Director of Health Services

LPN skills and requirements:

• Must be a LPN with licensure in the state of CO.
• 6+ months of care-giving experience in elderly care or a similar setting required.
• 6+ months of prior staffing/scheduling experience required.
• Must have flexibility in scheduling.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Positive team player.
