Our ideal team member is passionate about animal wellness, has the ability to play a vital role in providing quality medicine, is service-oriented, and thrives in a busy environment. They will feel confident rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with proper animal handling, understand x-ray and positioning, have knowledge of in-clinic laboratory equipment, understands the importance of client education, and thrives to be a supportive team player. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and we encourage and support our staff to do the same. Requirements:
- 1+ years as a Licensed Veterinary Technician - Must have already passed VTNE and have current license
- Surgery Experience
- Leadership Experience (able to help train staff)
- Knowledge of veterinary industry tools and equipment
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Understands the importance of client education
- Compassion for our clients and their pets
- Able to multi-task efficiently
- Positive and supportive team player willing to continue to learn
