Life Skills Specialist

Seeking a caring, friendly and fun person to help a young woman with autism improve her independence. She is active and likes to explore her local community, so she is in need of a caregiver who will be able and willing to take her out and about. Assist with safety awareness in the home and community, independent living skills, improving her communication and expanding her social circle. Plan and execute activities that will help her in achieving her goals. As long as there are opportunities for practice, then consider it a perfect activity...Longwood Gardens, bowling, mini golf, eating out - you name it. Great opportunity for anyone looking to make a difference in the life of someone with disabilities!

We offer structured rate increase opportunities based on performance and reliability, as well as various opportunities for learning and professional growth. As the owner, one of my primary goals is to maintain excellent and transparent communication so that all involved - consumers, staff, family, agency team members - feel supported and heard. With my 10 years of experience as an occupational therapist, I will provide regular clinical oversight to my employees so they can better assist participants in making progress towards goals.
